Discussion
5:00–5:30 PM | Break
5:30-6:00 PM | Discussions on the scientific convention "From the creation of knowledge to its reception by civil society"
The general public remains largely unaware of how scientific research works, despite efforts to make it accessible, which makes the dissemination of knowledge even more difficult. This lack of understanding influences perceptions of knowledge and fosters misinformation—beyond simple fact-checking—due to psychological, social, and political factors.
It is on this basis that the IESF Doctors’ Committee launched a scientific convention inspired by citizens’ conventions to reflect on the place of scientific knowledge in society. The organizers and participants of this convention were invited to come together to discuss this initiative and its outcomes.
6:00 PM | Posters session
Posters presented: summary posters by OHM and the Working Groups, and posters related to OHM or inter-OHM projects (only these will be eligible for the Poster Awards)
Free evening for participants / Meeting of OHM directors
